Grading - safety is the most important aspect of the shop experience:

100: Student wears safety glasses and hard hat every day; student participates and assists in construction every day.
80: Student wears safety glasses and hard hat every day; student comes to shop but does not actively participate in construction.
70: Student wears safety glasses and hard hat every day; misses two classes.
60: Student has to be warned to wear safety glasses and hard hat more than twice.
0: Student persists in not wearing safety glasses and hard hat after being warned.
